I'm actually just starting a second run, too. Which also helps with the pacing of the game. Plus, you know every hook and cranny to every base so missions are a lot easier and thus are completed quicker. Ow yeah one other thing I noticed now: The story seems to be progressing a lot faster now that I don't do tons of sidemissions. How do you guys play on your second/third campaign? Fultonning and going stealthy by choice, if going guns blazing was better at certain points, so be it. My first playthrough, in the beginning, I did what I had to do.
That makes it all a little harder but its the fastest way of leveling up your basestats- especialy in the beginning- because we all know: Eventhough Kojima said you could play MGS5 in any sort of way, the game rewards you the most for absolute stealth and extractions. For the most part, I dont really care about them, since they have no impact on the story and they are the same boring missions over and over.Īlso, I now Fulon every guard and I haven't killed a single enemy yet. Like a translator extraction, stuff like that. Now, I do the side ops that will benefit me. Also, I did a loooot of sidemissions, 3 or 4 before every main mission. The first time, I tried to sneak past enemies, fultonning the best looking ones and if an alarm was raised, so be it. So the game just kinda slipped out of my mind for more then a month, until two days ago.Īnd I gotta say, I now find myself playing a lil differently then my 1 playthrough.
But I didn't have that urge to play MGS5 again from the beginning like I had with the other games in the series. I wasn't as dissapointed with the ending as others were, altough the deleted content was opsetting. As most of you guys did, I bought TPP on releaseday.
